Q

What the circular model helps values research?

A

It’s a definition & construct (framework) on which to make assessments against when you looking at the ACQUISITION of values, how they are STRUCTURED and their STABILITY.

Q

What study is being used to show how Schwartz’s construct is also shown in value expressive behaviours - increase in self transcendence, drop in self-enhancement….

A

Vecchione (2016) - 310, (mean 11). - 2 questionnaires.

Q

Conclusion - what are the two points, and what are the studies being referenced?

A

The moment in life when the value structure is not yet organised - 6-11 (PBVS-C), youngest sample was 6. It will also add more empirical evidence regardless as this is such new territory.

Additional values - Schwartz 2012 (face), Cierciuch (2016) but he used PBVS-C based on the original 10 (missing spaces in the MDS).

Questionnaires may want to incorporate the newest models, and based on continued feedback about spaces, perhaps it can be refined more.
