A
  1. Delusions of Persecution: They are out to get me (poison, kill, read my mind, steal from me)
  2. Delusions of Reference: It is a message for me (billboard, other people’s activities, TV)
  3. Delusions of Grandeur: belief that one is famous or an important figure – ie Jesus Christ, might also include special powers
  4. Delusions of Control: belief that one’s thoughts or actions are being controlled by outside alien forces.

A

Negative symptoms refer to an absence or lack of normal mental function involving thinking, behavior, and perception.
This includes:
blunted affect, limited range of emotion, minimal & monotone speech, difficulty enjoying anything, socially isolated, lacks motivation, self neglect in terms of grooming or hygiene, slow movements.
