What’s an dependant variable?
The factor which is measured in an experiment
What’s an independent variable?
It’s a factor which is changed by the researcher in an experiment to make two or more conditions
What’s a schema?
Knowledge about an object, group of people or event that can affect our perception and help organise info and recall what we have seen
What’s a perceptual set?
Noticing some things more than others, can be caused by experience context or expectations
Serial reproduction?
Info is passed from a participant to the next in a chain. Differences between each version are measured
Repeated reproduction?
When a participants given a story/picture to remember. recalling it several times in a space of time. Differences in each version measured
Eyewitness?
Someone who sees a crime and helps the police to find out what happened & to catch whoever responsible
