Information about distance that comes from one eye
What is a depth cue?
Visual clues that we use to understand depth or distance

What is a binocular depth cues?
Information about distance that needs two eyes such as stereopsis
What is size consistency?
Perceiving an object as the same size when it’s distance from us changes
What is relative size?
When smaller I ejects are perceived further away than larger ones
What’s texture gradient?
An area with a detailed patten that’s perceived to closer than one with less detail
What’s height in Plane?
Objects closer to the horizon perceived to be more distant than ones below or above
What’s superimposition?
A partly hidden object must be further away than the object covering it
What’s linear prospective?
Parallel lines appearing to meet in the distance
What’s stereopsis?
A binocular depth cue, the greater distance seen by the left and the right eye, the closer the viewer is looking
