Mary: no, no were too late

Mary: Oh poor rose
Rita: Mary, we should be thankful that you softened Lucindas evil spell
Goldie: yea rose isn’t dead she is just in a deep sleep
Mary: a sleep that will last for a hundred years
Goldie: let’s get her to bed so she’ll be comfortable.
Narrator: not a lead stirred in the trees outside the castle
Mary: oh my goodness
Rita: like what happened to the narrator?
Goldie: she what?
Rita: she fell asleep??
Goldie: oh no how could that happen?
Mary: she left her narrator spot an walked into the story!
Goldie: oh my, now she’s under the same spell that everyone in the kingdom is under.
Rita: we’ve got to do something, she’s the only one that can finish the book
Mary: let’s get her back to her storytelling spot
Rita: hello, hello can you hear me?
Goldie: does it look like she can hear you?
Rita: don’t snap at me I’m trying to help
Goldie: help is what we need
Mary: yes! Help from the audience. We need your help to wake up the narrator. I’m going to count to three and then we’ll all shout WAKE UP all right? Are you ready? One..
Mary: yes! Help from the audience. We need your help to wake up the narrator. I’m going to count to three and then we’ll all shout WAKE UP all right? Are you ready? One..
Rita: I hope this works
Mary: shhhh! One..
Goldie: what if it doesn’t?
Mary: shhhhh one, two, three, WAKE UP
Narrator: what? What is it? What’s happening ?
Goldie: you tell us!
Narrator: huh?
Mary: when rose pricked her finger in the spindle and fell asleep
Rita: the whole castle fell asleep
Goldie: and then you fell asleep
Mary: we had to get the audience to help us wake you up so that you can tell us what will happen next in the story.
Narrator: oh my. Let see. The same deep sleep overcame the whole castle
Mary: SKIP THAT PART. Turn the page.
Narrator:… After struggling for hours a young man gave up and left exhausted
Goldie: oh. Rose will never meet the Prince from the next kingdom.
Rita: and never experience true loves kiss
Mary: she can still meet him
Goldie: yea if he can get through this wall of thorns which seems impossible
Mary: or after she’s been asleep for a hundred years
Rita: it better be worth the wait
Mary: RITA
Rita: a hundred years is a long time
Narrator: Well then the sooner we start counting the sooner Rose will wake up.
Mary: 12345678910 BEATHE 11 12 13 14 15 16
Goldie: there’s got to be a better way
Rita: maybe the years will pass faster if we sing them
Narrator: you really didn’t think we were going to count all the way to 100 did you?
Rita: now let me think- a counting song
Lucinda: a counting song how cute
Mary: go away Lucinda, you’ve caused enough trouble.
After counting song
Mary: wonderful, rose will be waking up soon!
Rita: but how do we get into the castle
Goldie: oh dear
Mary: look someone’s coming
Lucinda: Go on, you can touch it
Marigold: noooooo
