- Severe bleeding that cannot stop
- Severe allergic reaction
- Severe burns/scalds

Call 999

What should you do if there has been a major trauma?

What should you do if you want to complain about NHS services?
- Ask for complaints procedure
- Make complaint in writing/email/speaking to staff
What is local resolution?
- Speaking to someone in your care
- PALS (Patient advice & liaison services) - not direct in your care
If the local resolution has not resolved the issue what must you do?
Make a formal complaint

- Organisation which provided your care
- Organisation that commissioned the NHS service
