An activity to maintain/improve health
What is well behaviour?
Maintaining/improving current health & avoid illness
What is symptom-based behaviour?
An activity undertaken by people who feel ill to determine the problem (taking paracetemol for a headache)
What is sick-role behaviour?
An activity undertaken by people after they know what is wrong with them and want to get better. (taking antibiotics for a specific bacterial infection)
