A Key logger is a program which records the key presses of a user and then either stored them as a file on the computer. He should be worried because they could capture and record his username/passwords/credit card details. Along with any files he uploads or downloads from the internet.

Richard’s website uses cookies, to record the pages people have viewed so when they return a banner could show the images they looked at before so encouraging them to buy them, could even offer a discount if they view the same page / image twice.
If someone access Richards website can they copy one of his images and put it on their own website or sell the image?
No they cannot Richards images are covered by the Copyright and Patent act and they could be fined for their use and sale.
Someone tries to hack Richards website to steal customers details. What laws have been broken and by who.
The hacker has broken the computer miss use act and if it is easy to hack Richard has broken the Data Protection act because he has not kept the customers personal details safe and secure.
Why should Richards website have a pop up which appears when people first use his website to warn them that the website uses cookies?
It is an EU directive / law that you should warn users that your website uses cookies. You need the users permission to store the cookie data on the users computer.
