O: spines and supraspinous ligaments of T2-T5
I: medial border of scapula between root of spine and inferior angle
D:
A: retracts and medially rotates scapula
N: dorsal scapular nerve (C4,5)
Rhomboid minor
O: spines and supraspinous ligaments of C7-T1, lower part of ligamentum nuchae
I: medial end of spine of scapula
D:
A: retracts and medially rotates scapula
N: Dorsal scapular nerve (C4,5)
Pectoralis minor
O: outer surface of third to fifth ribs and adjoining intercostal fascia
I: upper surface and medial border of coracoid process
D:
A: Protracts and medially rotates scapula
N: medial and lateral pectoral nerves (C5-T1)
Levator scapulae
O: transverse processes of C1-C3/4
I: medial border of scapula between superior angle and base of spine
D
A: elevates, medially rotates and retracts scapula, extends and laterally flexes neck
N: ventral Rami (C3,4), Dorsal scapular nerve (C5)
