Includes parts of sphenoid bone and the pituitary gland lies inside

Optic foramen
Optic nerve, ophthalmic artery
Superior orbital fissure
oculomotor, troclear, abducens, ophthalmic division of trigeminal (V1) nerves. Ophthalmic veins and sympathetic nerves
Carotid canal
Internal carotid artery and postganglionic sympathetic fibers travelling as carotid plexus
Foramen lacerum
internal carotid artery superior to fibrocartilage after entering skull through carotid canal
Foramen rotundum
Maxillary division of trigeminal nerve (V2)
Foramen ovale
Mandibular division of trigemnal (V3), motor root of CN V, accessory meningeal artery
Foramen spinosum
Middle menigeal artery
Internal acoustic meatus
Facial nerve, vestibulocochlear nerve, labyrinthine artery
Jugular foramen
Sigmoid sinus, glossopharyngeal nerve, vagus nerve, accessory nerve
Hypoglossal canal
Hypoglossal nerve
