Perfect authentic cadence
Root position V7 moves to a root position 1, and soprano moves from 2 or 7 to 1.
Imperfect authentic cadence
Authentic cadence, but either:
- I or V is in inversion
- or soprano ends on something other than 1.
HC (Half Cadence)
Cadence that ends on dominant.
Deceptive Cadence
Cadence that moves from V > vi or v > VI
