Sanitary Piston Pumps
Three models with flow rates ranging from 4-14 gpm (15.1-53 lpm) @ 60 cpm
Perfect for fluid transfer and supply of low to high viscosity fluids
Higher pressure requires less air for same output (Una presion mayor requiere menos aire para el mismo volumen)
Available in double-ball and priming piston designs
Easy to remove shrouding for easy cleaning
No need for packing adjustments
Nueva tecnologia de motor de aire Merkur (carrera de 4.75)

“My diaphragm pumps work fine.”
When you go back to view the pumps, here is what you might see:
Product leaking out of the joints
Bolted fluid section design
*Sell them on Graco’s quick disconnect fluid section design and robust joints to minimize leakage and bacteria harboring in the bolted joints.
“I’m satisfied with the current diaphragm life on my pumps.”
Ask them what if could increase their diaphragm life by up to five times—would that make a difference?
Introduce to them the PTFE overmolded diaphragm
Promote long life and cleanability
“Your pumps are too expensive.”
If the pump isn’t in an extreme washdown environment, we have a lower cost pump to offer!
Suggest the SaniForce FDA pumps with painted aluminum center sections
These pumps are nearly 15% less expensive than our standard FDA pumps
Part numbering is easy to remember. For aluminum centers choose FAxxxx. For stainless steel centers, choose FDxxxx.
Focus on Graco’s low cost of ownership!
Promote the air valve
Simple 9 piece design
Half the cost of the competition for replacement parts
“I need a smoother surface finish and I want to be able to drain the pumps.”
SaniForce has another family of diaphragm pumps, High Sanitation (HS)
These pumps have a 32 Ra (.8 micro meter) finish, are mounted on a stand that rotates 360 degrees for easy draining and can accommodate both EPDM and PTFE overmolded diaphragms!
Leak detection is also available on 3-A certified models
“We don’t use sanitary diaphragm pumps in our facility.”
It is possible that the facility may not have sanitary diaphragm pumps.
Ask them to see their CIP room—here is your chance to sell them some industrial diaphragm pumps for chemical transfer
Most popular:
Husky 205 PVDF and Poly
Husky 307 PVDF and Poly
Husky 515 PVDF and Poly
“I already have a Monark 5:1 piston pump and it works great.”
Show them the features and benefits of the new SaniForce 6:1 piston pump Highlight: -Kydex shroud -Modular air valve -Higher pressures -Higher efficiency
“We use progressive cavity pumps in our facility for moving thick materials.”
Focus on cost savings!
Progressive cavity mechanical seals are expensive to repair
Focus on performance!
Can’t let progressive cavity pumps run dry without damaging them
“Drum unloaders are too expensive”
Follow-up with:
How many drums are you unloading per day?
How are you unloading them?
How much time does it take?
If they are unloading a significant amount of drums/day, ask them:
Can I show you the Graco ROI tool?
Show them:
Do a demo on the ROI tool
Savings in time and money by purchasing a drum unloader
“I already have a Graco unloader and it works just fine.”
Follow-up with:
Do you mind if I take a look at it? Just curious.
If they have an older one with a double wiper seal:
Ask them if they have trouble removing the seal for cleaning—Most likely they will—most have to pry it off with a screw driver and have punctured it many times.
If they have an older one with the previous inflatable seal:
Ask them if they have had any trouble cleaning it or tearing the seal when cleaning it.
Promote the new molded inflatable seal!
