3 cun proximal to SJ-4, level with and on the ulnar side of SJ-6, in the depression between the ulna and the extensor digitorum communis muscle.

On the upper arm, on a line drawn between SJ-10 and SJ-14, 4 cun proximal to SJ-10 and 6 cun distal to SJ-14.

On the upper arm, where the line drawn between SJ-10 and SJ-14 meets the posterior border of the deltoid muscle, approximately two thirds of the distance between these two points.

At the origin of the deltoid muscle, in the depression which lies posterior and inferior to the lateral extremity of the acromion.

In the suprascapular fossa, in the depression midway between GB-21 and SI-13 (at the medial end of the suprascapular fossa).
