Q

What is the central limit theorem?

A
  • CLT: if the sample size is large enough (n = 50+) the distribution of sample means is Normal

If the population/sample falls under the central limit theorem, it can be right, left, or symmetrical skewed, but the distribution of sample means will always be Normal (symmetrical)

Q

If we had all sample means based on all possible SRS’s, what can we conclude about the population mean and the population SD?
