Clar, Finca Parera 2021

A

Penedés, Spain, xarel-lo, xarel-lo is one of the three grapes used in the production of cava, used to complement the richness of macabeo, because of its high acidity. Penedes is in Catalonia, and this wine is made in the hills of penedes, in a cooler climate with chalky soil, which gives this white a lot of freshness and minerality

Rhone, France, Viognier, Viognier produces golden-colored, aromatic white wines with pronounced stonefruit aromas (apricots and peaches are often cited) alongside a full-bodied and often textural palate. It is susceptible to high alcohol levels and low levels of freshening acidty. This wine is not as aromatic as some viogniers, but is still expressive and has floral notes and stone fruit

L’opera des Vins “Les Années Folles”, , Jean-Pierre Robinot 2018

A

Loire, France, Pineau d’ Aunis, Pineau d’Aunis and Chenin Blanc A Pét-Nat is made from Pineau d’Aunis and Chenin Blanc. The grapes are sourced from vineyards in the Jasnieres appellation but they do not seek endorsement from the appellation committee, preferring to label the wine as Vin de France. This wine is very delicious and has almost an onion skin colour from the Pineau d’Aunis grapes. It has a fine bead and lasts for a long time on the back palate. A very complex pet nat!’ Very fresh
