Q

ごちそうさまでした (gochisousamadeshita)
ごちそうさま(gochisousama)

A

Literally translates to “It was a lot of work”. Means: “Grazie per il pasto, molto buono!” (Kind of, it’s used at the end of a meal to say “thanks, it was a feast” and means it was good). Gochisousama is the informal variant of gochisousamadeshita.
