An on-licence authorises the holder to

Section 14
Default national trading hours
- between 8 am and 4 am for on-licence and club-licence
- between 7 am and 11 pm for off-licence
An off-licence authorizes to
- sell
- deliver
- arrange for delivery of
alcohol for consumption off the premises
Section 17
A club licence authorises the holder of the licence to
- sell
- supply
alcohol for consumption on the premises to any
- club member
- guest accompanied by the club member
- member of another club
Section 21
Two kinds of special licences allow to
On-site
- sell
- supply
Alcohol on the premises to any person attending the event.
Off site
- sell
Alcohol for consumption elsewhere to any
- person attending any occasion or event described in the licence.
Section 22
The following must be displayed on the premises
- Licence - Section 56 and 57
- On-Duty manager’s name - Section 214(3)
Minor
A person under 18 y.o.
All minors found in Restricted or Supervised areas
must be supervised.
Otherwise:
- $2000 for duty manager
- $250 infringement notice
Section 244
Employing Minors in a Restricted Area
No minors should be employed to work in restricted areas, unless the minor is a spouse of the licensee.
Section 242
Minors Purchasing Alcohol
If minor buy alcohol from a licensed premises, then
- $2000 for the owner and
- $250 infringement notice for the minor
