What Actions are taken if SL’s are exceeded?
A
DNBR: >/= 1.34, In Modes 1 and 2
Fuel Centerline Temperature: <5080F(Westinghouse) or <4901F (Framatome) In Modes 1 and 2, decreased by 58F (Westinghouse) or 13.7F (Framatome) for every 10,000 MWD/MTU burnup.
RCS Pressure:
Reactor Core SL’s: Restore AND be in Mode 3 within 1 hour
RCS Pressure SL:
- If in Mode 1 or 2, restore and be in Mode 3 within 1 hour
- If in Mode 3-5, restore compliance within 5 minutes
NOTE: Fuel Centerline temperature is maintained via LPD or <21 kw/ft, but this is not the safety limit.
