Precautions of BCF?
- not suitable on class D or F fires (fat/oil) or pax
- beware of wires and flammable liquids due to splash back
- BCF may cause dry throat, skin damage, watery eyes and runny nose or heart arrhythmia

- secure in bracket

- Yellow seal cut but not broken
- expiry date valid
Drager operation?
Remove from container
Put on
Ensure neck seal is free from obstruction
Initiate oxygen flow by pulling on lanyard
Fasten by securing waist straps
Precautions of Drager ?
Ensure waist strap is fastened underneath rebreather bag

20 mins

4L per min

After use of portable oxygen ?
Wrap bottle in blanket and place in overhead or back in bracket
