WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE HONEST ABOUT STIs?
STIs can cause serious health problems, especially if they’re not found and treated.
Some STIs can lower the chances of having babies in the future if not treated early on.
Telling a future partner lets that person to make an informed decision about his or her own health.

What are viral STI’s?
Viruses are spread in very much the same way as bacteria. They can enter the body through a cut on the skin, or contact with infected surfaces or bodily fluids. E.g HIV, Genetial Warts, Herpes

What is Consent?
refers to the provision of approval or acceptance. It refers to expressing a willingness and giving permission. The age of consent in most states of Australia is 16.
What should consent involve?

What is sexual assualt?
Any unwanted sexual behaviour or activity that makes a person feel uncomfortable, frightened or threatened.
What does sexual assault look like?

What is sexual abuse?
It is generally used to describe behaviors by a person in power (carer, authoritative figure) to a child/person in their care.

spread by surface and skin contact, bodily fluids such as blood and saliva exchange and sexual intercourse. E.g Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Syphilis
WHat are Herpes symptoms in men and women?
Small red bumps and sores in the penis and vagina and anal areas
Pain or itching around the penis
What are gential warts (HPV) in men and women?
Small, flesh-colored or gray swellings in the penis
