- talk to supervisor/safeguarding lead

What to consider when disclosing information?
A
- does the person have capacity
- is anyone else at risk of serious harm
- could disclosure be justified even if no one else is at risk of harm

what to do in response to abuse
A
- ensure immediate safety of person
if urgent call 999 - discuss with supervising doctor/safeguarding lead
- call 101 if crime has been committed
- preserve evidence, make accurate records
