Q

FST treatments

A
  • IT spread
  • lateral sims ME
  • mirror image ME
18
Q

BST treatments

A
  • lateral recumbent

- alternate positioning for lateral recumbent

19
Q

uni F treatment - ME

A
  • patient prone
  • physician palpates SI joint on side of dysfunction
  • monitoring SI, physician gaps SI with hip ABduction and internal rotation
  • hypothenar eminence on posterior / inferior ILA
  • patient takes deep breath (sacral base posterior) while physician pushes ILA superiorly
  • patient holds breath while physician maintains superior pressure on ILA for 3 seconds
  • physicians maintains pressure on ILA while patient exhales
  • repeat x3 - recheck
20
Q

uni E treatment - ME

A
  • patient prone
  • physician monitors SI joint on side of shallow sulcus
  • patient’s hip is ABducted and externally rotate to gap anterior SI joint
  • physician places hypothenar eminence on sacral base on side of shallow sulcus while using other hand to grasp ASIS on same side - patient goes into sphinx
  • patient exhales fully while physician pushes toward table and caudally on sacral base and pulls laterally on ASIS
  • patient holds breath out while pushing ASIS toward table isometrically for 3 seconds - physician maintains pressure on sacral base and tension on ASIS as patient inhales
  • repeat x3
  • maintain pressure on sacral base and tension on ASIS while patient returns from sphinx to prone
  • recheck
