Where the manager attempts to sell decisions made

Where the manager takes into account the opinions of employees before making a decision

Where the manager encourages employees to be apart of the decision making process
Laissez Faire management
Management set objectives, but employees take full responsibility for achievement of these objectively

The process of creating and exchanging information.
Delegation
Where a manager gives authority to another employee to complete a set task. The manager is still responsible for the task being completed.

The process of reaching an agreement through discussions and compromises

Recognises difficulties, then develops and implements a plan of action
