What is appropriateness?
It means that the implemented program addresses the specific needs of a targeted community or population. An appropriate program should involve the people, focus on education, respect the culture and be the right type of aid to reach poor people.
What is equity?
-A sustainable program is one which is equitable and meets the needs of the people while providing equal access to all (especially women). It includes equal rights (food, education, work) and takes into account those living in rural/remote areas.
What is affordability?
Means that the implemented program is funded so that individuals are not required to pay and so it will remain affordable in the long term.
