• Latash states that CPGs can be considered classical motor programme type descriptions. We are talking about CPGs below brain level so they are not Schmidt type programmes.
• The CPG at simpler levels can fit into Schmidt style or Dynamical systems as we will see. It could depend on how complex the CPG is in output or how malleable it is to external and internal sources.
• The equilibrium point hypothesis in chapter 21 is not the only way to explain things. It does describe some experimental results but is still not a complete working theory and there are other ways to explain this.
