A

The Sovnarkom (Council of People’s Commisars) was the new government founded after the Bolshevik revolution containing 16 members.

What was the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk? And what impacts did it have on Russia and the opinions of the public?

A

On March 3rd 1918, Germany and Russia signed the Treaty of Brest-Litosk which brought an end to Russia’s involvement in WW1. Vast territories were taken and 62 million people left socialist revolutionaries displeased. Caused stimulus for Bolshevik opposition- lead to Civil War.
