Issued Emancipation Manifesto, which freed 23 million serfs. But it did not work, because they became even poorer.

weird dude, mysterious powers who helped the czar, people thought he was controlled some of the goveremnt.

Labors and workers left factories to protest and officers shoot at them killing many. Nicholas ordered officers to shoot. OCT.

they lost 2.3 million soldiers, weakened, food shortages, and poverty outbreak.

mothers and children protest food shortages and wanted to get Russia out of the war, Nicholas II order officers to shoot at them, the army turns on the king. Nicholas forced to leave russia

Kerensky was the leader, Bolsheukis lead a rebellion and successfully took over, had an election but lost and still stayed in office. Lead to a civil war

Red army-Bolsheviks (radical and communist, only workers and peasants) They win
White army-Mensheviks (Czar traditional, everyone included)
