A

Nicholas II abdocated (15th March) to his uncle grand duke mikhail became the new tsar . because of petrograd garrison mutiny
mikilyov and the right winged kadets supported this but workers of petrograd refused to support monarchy
mikhail abdicated on 3rd march 1917
ended romanovs power
so the overthrow of tsarism with no stability after feb revolution to what trotsky called dual power

A

the provisional government claimed to be thye sole legal government of russia
role was to govern temporarily untill the new constitutent (democratically elected) created a new consititution
-primarilly middle class
-leader was price lvov, who was widley respected was mainly the figure head
but the real driving force was kadet leader milyukov
chosen by comitee of duma not the people
kadets and other liberal parties
