Acute pelvic pain in afebrile, premenopausal women
Rebound tenderness
Haemorrhage from cyst can cause shock (rare)

A
Ultrasound

What is the management of ruptured ovarian cyst?
A
Conservative: pre-menopausal women with no evidence of hypovolaemic shock
Surgical evaluation: haemorrhagic cyst or ruptured cyst in postmenopausal woman
