What is a right?
A claim or expectation.
What does a right have?
A corresponding duty or responsibility to protect that right e.g. a local authority has a duty to protect everyone’s right to education until they are 18.

The most fundamental, important rights of all rights.

How are human rights universality?
human rights apply to everyone in the world
How are human rights inalienable?
They should apply to all sections of society - you cant decide to exclude certain groups
How are human rights indivisible?
You cant pick and choose who you want to respect.
Whose behalf must positive action be taken on and why?
On behalf of the state needs to be taken to protect rights.
