Section 1 - The Game

A

9 players per team, 2 teams
Batters become base runners and its runners to advance legally, touching all bases. When this is done, a run is scored.

The object of each team is to score more runs than its opponents. The winner of the game shall be the team that scores the greater number of runs at the conclusion of a regulation game.

Coaching Boxes Restrictions and Penalty Protocol

A

15 feet from foul line

At the time of the pitch, the base coach may not be closer to the foul line than the inside edge of the coaches’ box and no closer to home plate than the front edge of the box.

PENALTY: Warning on the first offense; an additional violation shall result in the coach being ejected.

A bat may not weigh, numerically, more than three unites less than he length of the bat.

Penalty for Illegal Bats

A

If detected before first pitch, the batter is out and bat is removed from the playing field.

If detected after first pitch, legal or ILLEGAL, the batter is out, baserunners shall not advance as a result of the batted ball. Remove bat from playing field.

Handle materials options? Technology restrictions? Foreign substances requirements?

Penalty?

A

Leather, rubber, or tape is permitted and must be securely attached for practice and game play.

There shall be no data collection or transmission devices externally attached or embedded within any part of the baseball bat.

No foreign substance that will discolor the ball may be added beyond the 18 inch mark.

Penalty - Warning, remove the bat. Neither infraction is cause for calling the batter out.

Webbing shall not be constructed so as to form a net type of trap.
Crotch area may not exceed more then 5 inches in length.
