what is the nemonic CLEAR - this should be used when we have a RTC

A

C – collision – what’s the level of damage, what services do we need, do people need to be cut out the car etc
L – Lead – take the lead In the investigation and agree who’s going to do it. For example – if they need cutting out, fire service should be the ones to lead and we will assist them
E – Evaluate – the situation, ambulance took first, fire took second and we took a look.
A – Act. Act as well as you can
R – Re-open – re open the road
