Absolute morality
Belief that something is morally right or wrong regardless of what the circumstances are.
Abstract
When something exists in thought or as an idea but does not actually have concrete or physical existence.
Afterlife

agnostic
a person who is uncertain if God exists or not because there is insufficient evidence.
Anglican
A person who’s is a member of the Church of ENgland (or Ireland)
attribute
refers to a quality or feature which is regarded as a characteristic or inherent part of someone or something.
atheist
This is a person who believes that there are convincing reasons and arguments to conclude that God does not exist.
Belief
This is something which people accept to be true or exists when they may not necessarily have proof.

Scientific theory which seeks to provide an explanation for the origins of the universe.

Claims the existence of God can be inferred from the intricate design of the world. (Intelligent Designer - Watch)
Devil/ Satan
Term used to describe a personal, spiritual adversary of God.
Evolution
Scientific theory that claims that human life developed from simple organisms through natural selection.
Existence
The state or fact of existing. It is frequently used when talking about God.
First Cause
Theory that everything has a cause apart from God, who is the First Cause or the Uncaused Cause.
Free Will
Belief that God has given each person the power to act in ways he or she is fully responsible for.
General Revelations
Knowledge of God available to everyone. E.g. through reflection on nature.
Genesis
first book of the Bible, includes Christian creation story.
Hallucinations
the experience of the apparent perception of something that is not actually present.
Holy Spirit
Third person of the Trinity. Guides and empowers Christians.
Illusion
A (false) belief that is not justified o warranted but is able to suggest to some that it is true.
Immanent
Belief that God is involved and present in his creation.
Impersonal
The idea that God does not possess personal qualities and does not enter into personal relationships with individuals.

Extraordinary event that cannot be explain by nature or science.
Monotheism
Belief in one God

Mora relativism
Belief that what is morally right or wrong depends on the situation/circumstances of each case.

pain or suffering cause by nature.
Omnipotent
God is present everywhere
Omniscient
God is all knowing.

Belief in the existence of many Gods.

Holy document used by a religion.
Scripture
Holy writings of a religious group which contains instructions or guidance for living.
Soul
Spiritual part of a human that continues to exists after death.

Person who believes in the existence of God.
Tradition
Beliefs or practices that have been passed on from generation to generation.
Transcendence
Latin prefix (trans) meaning beyond.

Unknowble
Cannot be known or understood.
Vision
revelation from God seen in a dream or a dream like state.
