Q

What is the most appropriate process to complete as part of an audit cycle

A

Data collection is a key step in an audit cycle. Collecting and analysing data will provide evidence on whether a standard is being met and enable you to achieve your aim

Ethical approval is not required for audits however if evaluation includes patients may need approval . And looking for errors is not usually part of an audit

It is good practice to re audit after a certain time period however doing this after one month is too soon and unlikely to provide new useful results. It is unusual to update guidelines and protocols before an audit takes place. This may a recommendation you action after an audit
