It helps the professional know where to target support: if someone says it takes 2 hours to get out of bed you will know that is where they need support.

- about daily, weekly and occasional activities
- how to support the person to be prepared for what they are doing each day
- what is important in the persons life
- what works well/what doesn’t work well

- be updated with information from all those attending the meeting
- help to generate actions that will help the person to have more of what is important to them

A
- some people can’t speak
- some people may not have many routines
- the professional will have to learn lots of different ways to ask the questions so they can get the answers they need
