A
- to celebrate the persons capacities or gifts
- to know how to support the person well
- a starter point for further action
- fir staff to refer to quickly in order to know about the person

What are one page profiles used for
A
- to find out information about the person, e.g. positive qualities/strengths/talents/hobbies/routines/important people
- a quick way for staff to understand at s glance how to support the person/ a summary of the persons care needs

Weaknesses of one page profiles
A
- sometimes people make assumptions about what is important to the person
- saying what is important without giving detail. E.g. privacy voile be interpreted in many ways based on the values that staff have
- staff out basics in that are a given and do. It need mentioning e.g. food, shelter, clothing
