Worked for the British to dig and remove antiquaries from Thebes.
What statue did he remove and where was it transported to?
Statue of Ramesses II (about 1,250 BCE) from Thebes which was sent to The British Museum which is still there today.
What did Belzoni sketch?
Abu Simbel (Nubia) 1,1816 (carved statues in the wall face) and also inside the pyramid.

What does the Rosetta Stone say?
Decree of Memphis (Ptolemy V), Issued in 196 BCE.
Written by a group of priests to honour the pharaoh. It lists all of the things that the pharaoh has done that are good for the priests and the people of Egypt.
