Describe the costume.
A tight fitting grey/blue under top - probably a leotard, with a lightweight pale blue loose fitting sweatshirt over the top of it, opening at the centre. A grey short skirt in lightweight material in a baggy fit for easy movement.Grey socks, brown flat lace up shoes. Hair is loose.
What is the set?
Site specific to a school in Belgium.
How does the costume support the choreography?
Uniformity - all of the dancers are wearing the same costume.
The Everyday - the costumes are casual, everyday clothing rather than elaborate theatrical costumes.
Femininity - whilst the costume might not seem very feminine, the short skirt and loose hair support this theme, and the loose sweatshirt falls/is pulled off the shoulder to reveal glimpses of the body. It is gender specific.
Rhythm - the flat shoes support the soundscape at times, falling into rhythmic walking every now and then
