Packing Rope:

A
  • coil CLOCKWISE
  • 4 FEET in diameter
  • Place hook in FRONT LEFT CORNER and pack COUNTERCLOCKWISE
  • Remove 3 feet of rope from carrying case and place anti-chafing device on rope
  • grasp hook and pull 1 1/2 arms length through

rope repacked from OPPOSITE END each time…marked with RED TAPE

*do not replace the anti chafing until the ENTIRE ROPE has been placed in the carrying case..this will allow twists in rope to work themselves out during packing

A

  • FLEXIBLE end overlaps the roof or the parapet wall
  • IMMEDIATE replacement of anti chafing is IMPERATIVe, since rope cannot be used without it
  • DIVISION has extra anti chafing and bag (and ropes)

DO NOT unsnap flap–remove snap hook, anti chafing and bowline through window

UNSNAP flap…pull the snap hook back through the window and remove the snap hook, anti chafing and bowline

-each DIVISION has mat and Training carrying case (YELLOW/BLACK LETTERING)

-LSR training rope should NOT BE carried on Apparatus, EXCEPT when TRANSPORTED FOR DRILL, UNDER CONTROL OF OFFICER
-after drill, ROPE is stored in plastic bag in cool, dry area of company office
-max 3 STORIES
