What does Paul say is the result of passing judgment on someone else? Why? v. 2:1
condemnation. everyone who passes judgment practice the same things.
God will give trouble and suffering to everyone who does evil - to the Jews first and those who are not Jews. But He will give glory, honor, and peace to everyone who does good -to the Jews first and those who are not Jews. How can that be? v.2:11
God judges everyone the same. It doesn’t matter who they are. He shows no partiality.
Who does Paul say will be righteous before God? v. 2:13

Paul says that it is the conduct of the sinner based on the knowledge of the Law written in their hearts and their conscience that condemns them. What are the two possible outcomes? vv. 2:15-16
Sometimes their thoughts tell them that they have done wrong, and this makes them guilty. And sometimes their thoughts tell them that they have done right, and this makes them not guilty.
What is the standard by which God judges the hearts of men? v. 2:16

They have the law, and think they know everything and have all truth. They fail to practice the law they proclaim, and hence they will face judgment.
Paul establishes the principle that judgment is according to works. How? v.2:6
He will reward or punish everyone for what they have done.
Hearing the law does not make people right (justified) with God. How will they be right before Him? 2:13

The Gentiles who do not have the Law naturally do the things of the Law. How do they demonstrate the work of the law? vv. 2:14-15
God’s law is written on their hearts, so that their consciences bears witness to what is right and wrong in their behavior.
If you follow the law, then your circumcision has meaning. But if you break the law, what happens? v. 2:25
then it is as if you were never circumcised.
Those who are not Jews are not circumcised. But if they do what the law says, it is as if what? v. 2:26
they were circumcised.
How is TRUE circumcision done? And by Whom? v. 2:29
in the heart; done by the Spirit, not by the written law.
And anyone who is circumcised in the heart by the Spirit receives what? v. 2:29
gets praise from God, not from people.
