What is the Third Century Crisis?
235 AD-284 AD - Rome was weakened in the East when the Persians took over the dynasty of Parthia. Rome’s economic and military policies encouraged the growth of barbarian tribes beyond the Rhine and Danube (Franks, Goths).
Monopolisation of Military Power by Emperors meant there was no stability.

Constantine converts to Christianity. Battle of Milvian Bridge - shields with crosses on them sent into the Battle Field.
