What is legislation
Legislation is made on the principles of the rule of law where it is made on fairly balanced individual rights of justice, to be transparent and interpretable by courts and judges, as well as being consistent and stable where the Australian society has clarity and confidence in the law, enforcements and decisions
why do legislation and case law go hand in hand
When there is an absence in legislation the courts can use precedents which allows other courts to follow suit and soon the legislation can amend the law or expand its scope
