Set out the legislative powers of the commonwealth to keep/make laws for peace, order and good government
section 109
Deals with any inconsistency of laws between state and federal
if a state passed a law different from law passed in by the commonwealth, section 109 would resolve the inconsistency - “when a law of a state is inconsistent with a law of the commonwealth, the latter shall prevail, and s109 gives federal law the powers to override state laws
Section 128
Outlines how the constitution can be altered, changed or modified to reflect the changing needs of an evolving AUS society - Can be changed by referendum set out by rules in s128

disqualification - Prohibits people with dual citizenship from serving in the parliament
