filmed 4-month old babies in face-to-face interactions with (1) primary caregiver mothers, (2) secondary caregiver fathers and (3) primary caregiver fathers
-like mothers, fathers smiling imitating and holding infants more than the secondary caregiver fathers
-important un building attachment
-similarities between (1) and (3) so father CAN be the nurturing attachment figure
-level of responsiveness matters not gender
