A

-language used to influence others. e.g. in workforce, any new procedures/rules are told by manager or those with power so that it will not be questioned. shows how status and role of sender of a message can influence both social rel/ships and control in work place.

others such as victory speechs, take over announcement and persuasion tactics all help with social control over another .

legal system, media and gov system use comm in diff forms to do so
