Neuromuscular relaxation following return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) following cardiac arrest in an intubated patient
Inclusion criteria
Cardiac arrest patient who has already undergone successful ends-tracheal intubation during resuscitation (confirmed by ETCO2 who then has a ROSC and is not tolerating the tube
Should be used in conduction with sedation - normally morphine and midazolam
Adult patients only
Exclusion criteria
Paediatric patients
Patients who do have a positively confirmed ET Tube
Hypersensitivity to rocuronium bromide
Cautions
Care should be taken to ensure the patient has adequate sedation
Should not be mixed with alkaline solutions

0.6mg/kg, repeat doses guided by response to prior dose
Form and strength
