How are igneous rocks formed
Igneous rocks are formed as a result of volcanic activity. Hot molten magma cooled down and solidified, either on the surface or within the crust
How are sedimentary rocks formed
Sedimentary rocks are formed from the remains of other rocks,plant life and animal life. These remains were deposited on the beds of seas and lakes as well as on land. They were then compressed and cemented together.
How are metamorphic rocks formed
Metamorphic rocks are those that have been changed in shape or form by great heat and pressure. They already existed as igneous or sedimentary rocks before being changed.
How do people use granite
It is used in the building industry and for monuments
How do people use limestone
Limestone is used to make monuments and is the raw material for cement.
