A

· a robot may not injure a human through action or inaction
· a robot must obey orders given by humans, unless it comes into conflict with law 1

How do robots sense their surroundings?

A

sensors; recognise the immediate surroundings and give it the ability to determine things(temp/appearance etc.); all sesor data sent to a microprocessor/computer

A

they have a ‘brain’(controller) that determines the action to be taken to perform a certain task
