What is the function of a stop sign?
To bring traffic to a stop behind the stop line until vehicles that stopped before you have moved off in a three or four-way stop
When there is no stop line, the front of the vehicle must be in line with the stop sign

To allow traffic turning to the left to do so without interfering with cross traffic, without stopping
When driving straight bring your vehicle to a complete standstill behind the stop line
If turning left, yield to all traffic which is close enough to be hazardous, continue when it is safe
What is the purpose of a 4-way stop?
To bring traffic from all four directions to a stop
Bring vehicle to a standstill behind the stop line, continue when it is safe.
The vehicle which stopped first at the intersection should move first
What is the function of a STOP/RY-GO sign?
The two different signs are back to back, they indicate whether you may proceed or stop
What is the a yield sign used for?
It indicates that you should yield to other traffic, reducing speed when approaching the intersection and stopping if necessary
What is the road sign Yield to pedestrians for?
To give priority to pedestrians crossing the road, or wanting to cross the road. Watch for pedestrians near or on the road and be ready to stop
What is the function of the yield at traffic circle sign?
Warns the driver of a traffic circle ahead. Follow the rules of a traffic circle.
