Explain consent, and how it can be dealt with (Ethics)

A
  • Researchers should informal all participants of the aims of the research
  • Participants should give consent:
  • Presumptive consent - Similar group of people are asked about if the experiment is acceptable
  • Prior general consent - Participants consent to many studies, one involving deception
  • Retrospective consent - Participants are asked consent after the study
